Alternate screens

CrewNerd lets you configure the workout screen to see exactly the data that you want during your workouts. You can change the number of rows, and select either one or two data fields on each row. You can also have different configurations for landscape and portrait mode usage.

With "alternate screens", you can now quickly switch between data configurations to suit different usage scenarios. For example, during training sessions, you may want to see the current interval number or time of day. But during a sprint race, you may prefer a simpler display showing only stroke rate, distance, and (maybe) pace.

Creating alternate screens

To create an alternate screen, go to the app settings and press "alternate screen". Then, press "add screen" and enter a name for the new screen. The screen will be initialized with the same data layout as the currently active screen.

To remove a screen (on iOS), swipe left on the screen name in the list.

Using alternate screens

To switch between screens, use the "current screen" drop-down selector on the alternate screens settings page. The "default" screen is always present and represents the built-in configuration. Changing the workout screen configuration always modifies the currently-active screen.
